Hi all,Here at the desk of Australian Writers Online, computer crashes arecommon. I don't know about you but I always wanted to know why thathappens and the technical people never had an answer that I couldcomprehend. So I got in touch with Doctor Seuss, who gave me anexplanation that makes sense. This is what he said:"If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus isinterrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makesyour floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error toreport. If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data iscorrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation'shopeless and your system's gonna crash! If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says thenetwork is connected to the button on your mouse, but your packetswant to tunnel to another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by theprinter down the hall, and your screen is all distorted by the sideeffects of gauss, so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse;then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang, 'cuz sure as I'ma poet, the sucker's gonna hang! When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk, and themacro code instructions cause unnecessary risk, then you'll have toflash the memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM then quickly turnoff the computer and be sure to tell your Mum!"

With thanks to the DCLnews editorial and to Dr Seuss.
