Anti-marriage Queers unite!
dear queers,
this is a call for interest from people who would like to be involved in an anti-marriage action on the 13 August to voice a little bit of radical dissent to the unholy alliance of queer groups who've organised the pro-marriage National Day of Action (NDA). It wouldnt be a negative anti-queer marriage action but would aim to expose dissent to the heteronormativity of the institution and to raise the issues of other queer people for whom marriage is not a priority.
Please dont respond to this if you just want to say that people shouldnt be allowed to express dissent because we should all fall in behind this conservative queer agenda. I've heard it all before and I still think marriage is stupid.
